Home Schooling – Heaven Or Havoc
Home schooling can be viewed in one of two ways, sometimes both at the same time, heaven or havoc! While we are firm believers in home schooling, we understand of course, how these two conflicting feelings can come about during a stressful situation.
The key here, is to prepare in such a way, so as to avoid the, havoc part of this equation. You will only experience havoc, when you are not prepared for the upheavals that can take place in the life of the home school setting.
Though there is no perfect world here on earth, we can make it as near perfect as possible, then deal with whatever comes up after that. Learning how to avoid havoc, by preparing ahead, will prove to be a valuable addition to any organizational planning or skills.
Research is one good way to avoid some of the pitfalls of home schooling. Seeking the advice of others who have already experienced the home school processes, can be a good source of information. Reading materials related to home schooling can provide you with additional information and ideas you may institute in your plans for your own home school processes.
Planning your home school before your children reach school age, will help you to be prepared at the appropriate time, just as planning the nursery helps to alleviate last minute details, by being ready beforehand.
Whenever you become aware of the need to home school, however, is the time to begin preparing. If you have already had your kiddos enrolled in a public school, it is never too late to start.
Believing that once a child has attended public school, the home school idea is no longer an option, is like believing you have already gained too much weight to begin exercising and watching your diet and attempting to lose those extra pounds.
So long as you have children of school age, it is never too late to home school to protect the foundational beliefs you want to see instilled in their lives.
The blessings you receive from home schooling your children, far outweigh the negatives attached to this form of education.

Home Schooling and the Status Quo
We need to change our Educational System, it is not good enough and just like other major problems like our political system and health care system, it’s broken. We all know the educational system is not working and most public schools are nothing more than glorified baby-sitting, rote memorization centers of indoctrination. What value is this to our society or civilization really?
Interestingly enough everyone freely admits the educational system is broken and that it needs to be fixed and yet trying to get anything done with the current barriers of the status quo is a little unnerving and who has the time to deal with it all?
Indeed, this is to be expected, you know the Status Quo, it’s everywhere. Let me tell you a little story. I had brought forth a “Neighborhood Watch Patrol Plan” which has been successful, everywhere we have instituted it. Yet, every time it is suggested we hit a literal brick wall due to the status quo (local law enforcement agencies). Amazing, that they are not interested in solving the problems, making it better or winning, only in their fiefdoms.
This is human nature of course, still it is unacceptable, surely mankind is better than this? It takes a lot to be a change maker, and it is worthy, but you have to be willing to go the distance, few are. But they finally did instituted my Neighborhood Mobile Watch Program in NYC with the Taxi Cabs, so eventually if you press on, you can get it done.
So, it is possible to change things that are broken and solve the challenges and problems of our day, but it takes time and there are emotional costs and some hard headed people in the way. Many people have just given up on their local school systems and turned to Home Schooling and the Status Quo is worried about the rapid growth in home schooled families as well they should be. A little competition is good for them.

Vocational Education – Right Choice for Your Future
Vocational Education and Training (VET) is also called Vocational training and Career and Technical Education (CTE)). It gets learners ready for careers based on manual or practical activities, traditionally non-academic and those related to a specific trade, occupation or vocation; hence the term, in which the learner participates.
Oftentimes, it is called technical education, since the learner directly develops expertise in a particular group of techniques or technology. Vocation and career are usually used interchangeably. Vocational education may be compared to education in a typically broader scientific field. This may focus on theory and abstract conceptual knowledge, characteristic or tertiary education. Vocational education is usually at the secondary or post-secondary level. It, normally, interacts with the apprenticeship system of skills enhancement.
Till the end of the 20th century, vocational education concentrated on specific trades such as, for instance, an automobile mechanic or welder. Hence, it was related to the activities of lower social classes. As a result, it was associated with a sort of stigma and vocational education got linked to the traditional and conventional apprenticeship routine of learning. But as the labor market got more focused and economies started to stipulate higher levels of skill, governments and businesses started increasingly investing in the future of vocational education.
This is done through publicly funded training organizations and financially supported apprenticeship or trainee schemes for businesses. At the post-secondary level vocational education is normally provided by institutes of technology, or by local community colleges. In the 20th century Vocational education got extremely diversified. It now exists in industries such as retail, tourism, information technology, funeral services and cosmetics, as well as in the traditional crafts and cottage industries.
Online Education
There are several terms for online education. A few of them are: virtual education, online education, distance education, Internet education, web-based education, and education via computer-mediated communication. Essentially, online education is characterized by:
- The separation of teachers and learners that differentiates it from one on one education
- The impact of an educational organization that differentiates it from self-study and private tutoring
- The use of a computer networks to provide or dispense educational content
- The offer of two-way communication through a computer network so that students may profit from communication with each other, teachers, and staff
E-learning
E-learning is classified as interactive learning. In this type of learning the content is made available online and gives automatic feedback to a students learning activities. Online communication with real people might or might not be included. However, the aim of e-learning is normally more on the learning content than on communication between tutors and students.
